Coming Soon to our Parking Lot! Volunteers Needed!
It's time, once again, to prepare for our annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Drive Thru. On Thursday March 6th a couple hundred cars will drive through our parking lot to pick up a hot meal of corned beef, cabbage, red-skinned potatoes, carrots, pumpernickel bread, and marble cake with green frosting.
This will be the 8th annual drive thru which has become the talk of Baldwinsville. Many, many hands are needed to pull off this monumental effort. If you are able to help, please contact Barb Winegard or sign up on the easel in the front of the sanctuary. Volunteer to bake cakes, distribute flyers, donate frosting, peel carrots, scrub potatoes, cut cabbage, cook meat and vegetables, trim & slice meat, stuff bread & butter into sandwich bags, frost & cut cakes, take orders, fill orders, and clean up after the event.
We have a job for everyone! Please help if you are able. This is the largest fund raising event for our church.
As a community outreach, we will once again collect money to provide gift certificates to Baldwinsville Food Pantry patrons. Last year, our congregation donated enough to purchase 30 gift certificates for very appreciative folks who thoroughly enjoyed being treated to a hot meal. If you would like to make a donation, please see Barb. Any amount, large or small, is welcome.
