CALL TO WORSHIP (From Psalm 24 )
One: The earth is the LORD's and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;
All: for he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.
One: Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
All: Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who do not lift up their souls to what is false, and do not swear deceitfully.
One: They will receive blessing from the LORD, and vindication from the God of their salvation.
All: Such is the company of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Let us worship God together with pure hearts!

CALL TO CONFESSION
Nothing can be hidden from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth,
whose wisdom is endless, whose mercy is great. Trusting in God’s grace, let us confess our sin.
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (UNISON)
Gracious God, we confess that we are too easily influenced by things of this world. We know that you seek to inspire, instruct and guide us by your Word, and yet so often we do not take that privilege seriously. God of mercy, we so often take your love for granted and are selfish and disobedient in so many ways. Help us to want to dance with joy in your presence like David. Prevent us from listening to the whisper of evil like Herod. Inspire us to have clean hands and pure hearts, so that rather than lift up our souls to what is false, we lift up our voices in praise of your holy name. Amen.
One: Now that we have confessed as a body, let us take the truths that have troubled our hearts to God silently. Let us not be worried about the awkwardness of silence, as we take some time to focus on speaking with our God.

PASSING OF THE PEACE
One: Since God has forgiven us in Christ,
let us forgive one another.
The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
All: And also with you.
One: Let us share signs of peace with one another.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed
I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by
the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he
rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to
judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION (UNISON)
Generous God, we give you thanks for your multitude of blessings to us - those we recognize and those we take for granted. We ask that you enable us to use these gifts we offer today as a sign of your great love for the world, so that all may know and share the abundance of your grace and accept your offer of salvation; in your holy name we pray. Amen.
